HCA HealthONE Swedish, a leading healthcare provider in the Rocky Mountain region, is seeking a dedicated Medical Professional to fill the role of Oncology Clinical RN Coordinator.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and experience in oncology nursing, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care and leadership. As an Oncology Clinical RN Coordinator, you will be responsible for collaborating with the Director/Designee to plan, organize, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate patient care services.

This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams. You will also be expected to participate in ongoing assessments of quality patient care services, collaborate with subject matter experts, and create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
  • Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
  • Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate nursing licensure.
  • Current BCLS through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Bachelor Science Nursing or Bachelor's degree in health-related field required. Graduate of a certified school of nursing.
  • Minimum of 2 years clinical RN preferred.
  • Two years progressive supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.
