Medical Director for Veteran Care

We are seeking a highly skilled Primary Care Physician to join our team at the Tucson VA Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to a diverse population of veterans.
About UsThe Tucson VA Medical Center is a 295-bed hospital that provides comprehensive healthcare services to eligible veterans in Southern Arizona. Our medical center serves as the flagship for the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System, which includes seven community-based outpatient clinics and provides training, primary care, and specialty health care services to over 170,000 veterans.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to optimize health outcomes, including ordering diagnostic testing, prescribing medications, and consulting with specialty services.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to support quality and patient satisfaction initiatives.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and guidelines.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any US state.
- US Citizenship.
As a valued member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary of $250,000 - $300,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer:

- A flexible work schedule, including five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts between Monday and Friday.
