Logistics Specialist

Cloverdale Building Supplies is seeking a reliable and skilled Logistics Specialist to join our team as a full-time delivery driver. This position plays a crucial role in delivering building materials, maintaining equipment, and providing exceptional customer service.

• Verify shipment details against documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Provide top-notch customer service by presenting a professional image and demeanor at all times.
• Unload shipments safely and efficiently, utilizing knowledge of construction sites and best practices.
• Collect payment from customers for delivered goods and any additional delivery charges.
• Maintain close communication with the Sales team to receive timely delivery instructions.
• Perform routine inspections on truck equipment, including tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and water levels.
• Daily equipment maintenance checks are essential to ensure optimal performance.
• Loading, stocking lumber, loading customers, and planning future loads are also key responsibilities when not actively on deliveries.
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safe driving practices.
• A clean driving record is mandatory.
• Hold a valid For-Hire endorsement or Class B CDL.
• Lifting up to 80 pounds may be required.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
