Wake County QPSA Counselor Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Wake County QPSA Counselor to join our team at SouthLight Healthcare. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing assessment, treatment, and support services to individuals in need of substance use and mental health services.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide counseling and therapy services to clients, including group and individual sessions.
- Collaborate with community resources and other agencies to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current on best practices and evidence-based treatments.
- Master's degree in a human services field, such as counseling, social work, or psychology.
- Current licensure to practice clinically, or provisionally licensed with a commitment to obtaining full licensure within 2 years.
- Experience working with individuals with substance use and mental health issues, preferably in a clinical or counseling setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
