Clinical Medical Examiner for Veterans
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Medical Examiner to conduct thorough medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
This role involves reviewing electronic medical records and performing in-person physical exams to gather essential information. The examiner will then document exam findings through a web portal, ensuring accurate and detailed reports.
As a Clinical Medical Examiner, you will NOT be responsible for making disability determinations; this decision lies with the United States Veterans Administration.
This position is strictly focused on performing Disability Assessments on Veterans, without any involvement in treatment or medication prescription. The average workload consists of 3-5 assessments per day.
This is a part-time schedule, offering a flexible work arrangement. The position requires regular attendance during normal business hours, without any on-call responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent time management skills, analytical abilities, and proficiency in computer usage. Additionally, they must hold a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.
The successful candidate will receive training and continued support, along with access to health insurance options and a company-supplied computer. This role offers a typical day consisting of 3 to 5 patients, providing an opportunity to serve the Veteran community and enjoy a rewarding work environment.
In exchange for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary of $$73,000 annually, commensurate with experience. If you're passionate about serving the Veteran community and working in a clinical setting, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.
