Key Responsibilities

  • Oversight of store operations, including profitability, employee relations, marketing, and minimizing waste
  • Inspection of prep areas, equipment, and utensils to ensure sanitary standards are met
  • Review and confirmation of reports prepared by Store Managers to track metrics
  • Coordination with Store Managers to promote efficiency of operations and maintain fair and consistent treatment of team members
  • Assistance at the front of the house as needed, including making pizzas and ensuring pizza assembly times are maintained
  • Monitoring of cash procedures in the store and ensuring accuracy of bank deposits, cash drawers, and justifying all cash variances
  • Holding Store Managers accountable for tracking and reconciling promotion coupons and gift certificates
  • Ensuring Store Managers prepare and post weekly schedules for store personnel
  • Approving work schedules for Store Managers
  • Improving operational levels within stores using QSC Reports
  • Communicating status of stores to Supervisor on a consistent basis
  • Holding Store Managers accountable for recruitment, training, and retention
  • Evaluating work performance of Store Managers and conducting performance evaluations
  • Ensuring all stores comply with federal, state, and local labor laws
  • Monitoring and managing Market Force and InMoment feedback
  • Participating in sales building plans and local store marketing activities
  • Maintaining a professional appearance and complying with Papa Murphy's grooming standards

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • 2 years operations experience as a manager in a Papa Murphy's or similar store
  • Prefer multi-unit management experience
  • ServSafe Certification required
  • Ability to supervise multiple Store Managers or Assistant Managers
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to manage difficult customer situations
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and POS
  • Basic reading and math skills, including weights and measurements
  • Knowledge of store financials, P & L's, break-even analysis, food cost analysis, labor cost analysis, and other financial information relative to store operations

Other Requirements

  • Ability to travel for business purposes
  • Ability to complete all required reports on a timely basis
  • Ability to maintain prompt regular attendance
  • Regularly required to stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms
  • Occasionally required to bend and stoop; kneel or crouch
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
