Basketball Coach

Are you a passionate and experienced basketball coach looking to make a positive impact on the lives of young athletes? We are seeking a qualified candidate to lead our 7th and 8th grade boys' basketball team.

This is a part-time extracurricular coaching position that requires a minimum of twenty-one (21) years of age. As a basketball coach, you will be responsible for leading practices, developing game strategies, and mentoring students both on and off the court.

• Lead and motivate the team to achieve their full potential
• Develop and implement effective practice plans and game strategies
• Mentor students in sportsmanship, teamwork, and discipline
• Communicate effectively with parents, school administrators, and other stakeholders

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A BA/BS degree from a regionally accredited program/university
• Florida Athletic Coaching Certification or eligibility to apply upon extension of offer
• Two (2) years documented high school basketball coaching experience
• Extensive knowledge of the sport at the competition level
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage large groups of students/athletes

College-level coaching experience may substitute for high school coaching experience.

We estimate the salary for this position to be in the range of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
