We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team at UniFirst. As a Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving sales growth and revenue for our company. Your primary responsibility will be to establish and manage a Sales Team to conduct all aspects of sales activities within assigned geographic territories.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve and exceed new account Sales quota: You will be responsible for meeting and exceeding your sales targets, which will involve prospecting, creating interest, conducting needs analysis, making effective sales presentations, and closing prospects.
  • Develop and implement an annual Sales Plan: You will work closely with the senior leadership team to develop and implement a comprehensive sales plan that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Monitor Salespersons' activities, performance, and effectiveness weekly via field observation and Planning & Review (P & R) sessions: You will be responsible for monitoring the performance of your sales team and providing regular feedback and coaching to ensure they meet their sales targets.
Requirements
  • 3 or more years of successful business-to-business new account sales experience, with 2 additional years in sales management preferred: You should have a proven track record of success in sales, with a strong understanding of sales concepts, methods, and techniques.
  • College degree preferred: A degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is desirable but not essential.
  • General computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office including MS Word and Excel: You should be proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Effective communication skills with customers: You should be able to communicate effectively with customers, both verbally and in writing.
  • Exceptional customer service skills: You should have a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service and building long-term relationships with clients.
