Job Title: Medical Trauma Nurse

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN to deliver exceptional patient care in the medical trauma unit. In this role, you will provide patient-centered direct nursing care, including telemetry monitoring, to a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities:
Provide therapeutic care of patients being treated for cardiac, respiratory, renal, and other conditions.
Assess acute changes in patients, monitoring and analyzing heart rhythms, interpreting ECGs, noting arrhythmias, and intervening in emergency situations.
Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, providers, cardiac specialists, and patient care staff to administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the facility.
Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions utilizing our computerized documentation systems.
Coordinate patient discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team and participate in patient/family education.

Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
Current Registered Nurse License in Virginia or Current Multistate Compact License.
1 year of recent RN experience in an acute care hospital setting (Preferred).
