Job Summary:

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team in Albany, Georgia. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for reviewing products and materials during manufacturing to ensure they meet company requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect products and materials for visible manufacturing defects.
  • Ensure all processes and procedures are in compliance with the Quality Manual.
  • Read blueprints and specifications to ensure that products meet approved design standards and tolerances.
  • Use inspection tools such as calipers, pin gauges, micrometers, protractors, conductivity meters, Rockwell hardness testers, and measuring tapes to determine blueprint compliance.
  • Complete required company forms and documents.
  • Identify products that do not meet quality standards and recommend strategies to improve product quality.
  • Accept or reject finished products and discuss inspection results with the production team.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of manufacturing experience.
  • A&P License.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Technical skills and ability to understand blueprints, documents, and manuals.
  • Knowledge of basic math and computer skills.
  • Ability to follow rules and regulations.
  • Strong work ethic and teamwork mentality.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • The willingness to work overtime to complete required tasks.
  • Must pass pre-employment urinalysis and background check.
