Construction Technician

Azuria Water Solutions is seeking a skilled Construction Technician to join our team in Fairfield, ME. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the installation of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) for various municipal, industrial, storm, and sewer line rehab and repair projects.

• Repair various types of sewer lines using a specific product and process
• Ensure pull-in tube is properly prepared for installation by examining D-Rings, chains, and attachment to pulling cable
• Install the prepared tube using a winch, backhoe, crane, or other appropriate material
• Monitor gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure equipment is working properly
• Cure resin products using an inflation tube, banding boots, layflat, boiler hose, etc.
• Learn and train on Insituform's products, processes, safety procedures, installation techniques, and equipment
• Drive various vehicles to haul crews and equipment
• Perform set up and clean up tasks at job site / shop

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience as a Construction Laborer and / or Installation Technician highly preferred
• OSHA certifications are a plus
• Valid driver's license required with a clean motor vehicle report
• CDL is preferred but not required
• Must be able to wear a respirator and body harness while entering confined spaces
• Ability to lift / move up to 75 pounds and use pneumatic, battery-powered, or electric tools
• Comfortable working outside at job sites with moving vehicles and mechanical operations, with occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles
• Must be able to travel weekly (potentially out of state)
