Industrial Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Goldens' Foundry & Machine Company in Columbus, GA.
The successful candidate will work independently and as part of a team, performing preventative, scheduled, and emergency maintenance tasks in support of Foundry operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, and power transmission systems.
- Troubleshoot and read Industrial, Electrical, and Hydraulic print systems.
- Work alone with minimal supervision or with other maintenance technicians.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic systems and equipment.
- Have a thorough background in industrial electricity and knowledge of schematics, AC/DC systems, PLCs.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrically driven operating systems and equipment.
- Associates degree in electronics or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
- Knowledge of electrical/electronic troubleshooting and installation techniques.
- Capable of performing mechanical repairs or mechanical knowledge of machinery found in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity and knowledge of Stick Welding and establishment of components according to specifications.
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must work with a sense of urgency.
Safety is our top priority, and all safety procedures and guidelines must be followed. This includes wearing PPE such as hard hats, eye protection, hearing protection, flame retardant clothing, and steel toe work boots.
