We are on the hunt for a seasoned Senior Operations Director to join our vibrant team at Hunt Hive Talent Recruiting Agency, based in Los Angeles, CA. This remote role operates at a near-COO level in a growing law firm, overseeing the strategic vision and operational excellence of the non-legal side of the business. As a pivotal member of the leadership team, you'll work closely with senior leadership to implement initiatives supporting growth, operational efficiency, and long-term success.
Your Mission:
- Foster a positive, high-performance culture grounded in company values such as leadership, teamwork, and innovation.
- Lead and manage a team of non-attorney staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Partner with the CEO to define and implement strategic goals that align with the firm's growth objectives, ensuring seamless process and workflow efficiency.
- Oversee the optimization of firm-wide operations, focusing on efficiency, risk management, and compliance, maintaining a seamless Potential New Client (PNC) experience.
- Collaborate with the CFO on financial oversight, budget forecasting, and financial performance, ensuring accurate budget management and financial analysis.
- Manage daily operations, including workflow, document and data management, virtual facilities, and vendor management, ensuring high attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for operational success, driving impactful results and long-term growth.
- Oversee HR functions such as payroll, benefits administration, recruiting, onboarding, and compliance with federal and state regulations, maintaining a client-service mindset.

What You Bring:
- High school diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred, with a strong educational background in business administration or a related field.
- Certified Legal Manager (CLM) preferred, demonstrating expertise in law firm administration and legal operations management.
- 7+ years of experience in law firm administration or legal operations management, with a proven track record of success.
- 3+ years of supervisory experience managing legal staff of 10 or more, with a strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Proven HR experience, including recruiting and onboarding, with a focus on maintaining a seamless Potential New Client (PNC) experience.
- Experience managing a budget of $5 million or more, with a strong understanding of financial management and analysis.
- Familiarity with remote-first work environments, with a strong ability to adapt to new technologies and workflows.
Skills Required:
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
- Project management skills for handling multiple priorities, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of legal office procedures, terminology, and document management systems, with a strong understanding of regulatory standards.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- High attention to detail, organizational skills, and a client-service mindset, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
Certifications:
- Certified Legal Manager (CLM) preferred, demonstrating expertise in law firm administration and legal operations management.
