Key ResponsibilitiesThe following are some key responsibilities associated with this position:
- Provide comprehensive patient care in alignment with core standards, policies, and evidence-based practices.
- Manage patient assessments, care planning, implementation, evaluation, and discharge planning.
- Collaborate to reduce patient wait times and length of stay, working closely with case management.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
- Report equipment issues, safety concerns, and inventory shortages to the Supervisor.
- Advocate for patients and families, ensuring their needs are met.
- Identify and address opportunities for improving patient care and outcomes.
- Promote a culture of safety and follow infection prevention policies.
- Contribute to cost-saving efforts through efficient use of resources and staff.
- Participate in quality improvement activities and patient satisfaction initiatives.
- Mentor and train new staff, fostering a positive learning environment.
- Apply transcultural nursing principles and participate in patient education.
- Comply with hospital policies and engage in ongoing professional development.
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's or Associate's Degree/Diploma in Nursing is required.
- Experience: Two years of nursing experience with a Bachelor's or four years with an Associate Degree/Diploma is required. ICU or Emergency Room experience is preferred.
- Licensing: Valid license from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) is required. Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is also required.
- Specialization: ICU or Emergency Room experience is preferred.
- Skills: Advanced Clinical Skills, Proven Leadership Skills, and Knowledge of Quality of Care Standards are essential.
- Languages: Proficiency in English is required, and Arabic language proficiency is also a plus.
- Location: The position is located in Saudi Arabia, and candidates must be willing to relocate.
The estimated annual salary for this position is between SAR 120,000 - SAR 180,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
