We are seeking a skilled Dishwasher to join our team at Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for washing and properly storing all cooking utensils, china, equipment, flatware, and glassware.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Wash dishes and items for the entire property.
  • Sweep and mop coolers daily.
  • Sweep dry storage.
  • Keep levels stocked up on flour, rice, and sugar bins.
  • Receive all deliveries and check in to ensure proper products are ordered.
  • Weigh at least two protein items to ensure proper case weight.
  • Take receiving temperatures on protein products.
  • Receive grocery orders and place them in proper locations on the shelf.
  • Label and date all items.
  • Help chefs with inventory procedures to ensure proper inventory is taken monthly.
  • Assist with kitchen tasks as needed.
  • Responsible for a clean van and gassed for the next day.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
  • Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
  • Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary.
  • Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns and issues raised by team members and guests.
