Job Summary:

As a skilled Welder 1st Shift Fabricator at Nortek Data Center Cooling, you will be responsible for utilizing various welding processes to fabricate and repair metal components. Your primary goal will be to produce high-quality products in a timely manner, adhering to all written practices and shop standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Weld metal components together to fabricate or repair products according to shop blueprints, SOE's, OMS's, and AWS specifications.
• Operate various welding processes, including GMAW, TMAW, Arc Stud Welding, and Resistance Welding.
• Cut metal using oxy-acetylene, plasma cutter, or grinding discs following shop blueprints.
• Maintain a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to lean practices and good housekeeping standards.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Completion of some secondary/trade school technical and/or general business course is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of similar work experience in welding or construction experience.
• Ability to read measuring devices, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of the tools of the trade and ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
