Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Insurance Sales Development Manager to join our team in the Insurance Division. In this role, you will provide industry-leading pre-sales support, acting as a primary point of contact for sales teams on life insurance sales topics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Sales Support
    • Serve as a primary resource for producers (sales teams) on all aspects of the life insurance sales process, providing product information, case design assistance, and illustrative solutions to support sales efforts.
    • Leverage an innovative mindset to deliver tailored illustrations and case designs that meet client needs and help win sales.
  • Relationship Building
    • Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., wholesalers, back-office teams) and external partners (e.g., financial professionals).
    • Be a trusted partner for wholesalers, producers, and internal teams, offering solutions to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork
    • Work effectively within a team environment to support sales objectives and foster a collaborative atmosphere.
    • Help ensure smooth coordination between various departments and resources to streamline the sales process and drive business.
  • Client Support & Service Excellence
    • Provide exceptional, reliable service to financial professionals, ensuring their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
    • Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address issues, find solutions, and support the sales process effectively.
  • Market Presence
    • Actively contribute to strengthening the marketplace by supporting sales efforts and providing outstanding service.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • A four-year college degree is required.
  • Licensing Requirements:
    • FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam required.
    • Series 6, Series 63, and Massachusetts Insurance License are preferred but can be obtained after hire.
  • Skills & Experience:
    • Phone demeanor: Professional and courteous, with the ability to engage effectively over the phone.
    • Sales acumen: Strong understanding of the sales process and how to support sales teams.
    • Customer service skills: Excellent ability to serve and support internal and external customers.
    • Financial services knowledge: Experience or familiarity with financial services is a plus.

Compensation Package:

  • Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Benefits:
    • Health and retirement benefits starting on Day 1.
    • 3 weeks paid vacation plus additional personal, sick, and family care days.
