Job Title: Nursing Care Specialist

RN Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Care Specialist to join our team at Calibre Post Acute. As an integral member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with current company, federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and monitor residents' conditions and provide professional nursing care in accordance with the care plan and doctor's orders.
  • Demonstrate commitment to our organization's mission, values, and standards of ethical behavior.
  • Participate in the formulation and evaluation of standards of care with our interdisciplinary team members.
  • Initiate emergency support measures when necessary.
  • Coordinate resident admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed in accordance with government regulations and company policies.
  • Perform assessment functions, including identifying changes in residents' physical or psychological conditions.
  • Ensure that nursing histories are present in medical records for all residents.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience providing direct care to multiple patients/residents, preferably in a Skilled Nursing environment.
  • A valid RN license to practice in New Mexico.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Maintain knowledge of equipment set-up, maintenance, and use, including monitors, infusion devices, drain devices, etc.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • An estimated annual salary of $62,000 - $82,000 based on experience.
