Housekeeping Specialist

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Housekeeping Specialist to join our team at Gold's Gym South Texas.

• Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, ensuring it is properly sanitized and in good working condition.
• Sweep, dust, mop, scrub, and vacuum hallways, stairs, office space, and other assigned areas of the gym, ensuring a safe and clean environment for members and staff.
• Clean, mop, scrub, polish, and disinfect all bathroom areas as needed, adhering to high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
• Ensure a sufficient supply of materials, such as towels, tissue, soap, and other essentials, in all bathrooms and assigned areas.
• Empty trash and garbage containers in all assigned areas, as well as the gym overall, maintaining a clean and tidy environment.
• Monitor floor areas to ensure they are safe, clean, and orderly, identifying and addressing any potential hazards.
• Observe equipment for potential safety hazards, taking prompt action to address any issues.
• Current CPR Certification is required.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Current CPR Certification.
