Caregiver for Children with Intellectual Disabilities

As a Residential Support Professional (RSP), you will be part of a dedicated team that provides holistic care and addresses the unique needs of each individual.

You will work collaboratively with colleagues to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that fosters growth and development.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining a clean and safe living space free from harassment and abuse
  • Providing quality care and supporting individuals with activities of daily living
  • Being a positive and respectful role model, promoting autonomy and dignity
  • Working collaboratively with team members to facilitate success and growth
  • Contribution to the development and implementation of individual support plans

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Dependable, punctual, and flexible
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Pass a criminal history background check
  • Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 pounds

Preferred qualifications include current active CPR and OIS certifications.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing compassionate care and making a positive impact on the lives of others.

This is a part-time position with variable shifts available, including day and swing shifts. The estimated salary for this role is $17-$20.67 per hour, depending on experience.
