About the Role
Overview
PoliLam seeks a skilled and dynamic Warehouse and Inventory Manager to join its team and contribute to its pursuit of excellence. This critical role ensures the seamless operation of inventory control and warehouse activities. The ideal candidate will oversee inventory levels, ensure stock accuracy, optimize warehouse procedures, and manage personnel effectively. Additionally, this position requires close collaboration with various departments to streamline workflows, enhance operational efficiency, and support the company's growth.
Main Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
• Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through regular audits and reconciliations.
• Forecast inventory needs based on sales trends and lead times to prevent stock shortages or overages.
• Generate detailed reports on inventory levels, turnover rates, and other key metrics.
Warehouse Operations:
• Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure optimal workflow and productivity.
• Implement and maintain effective warehouse layout and organization strategies.
• Manage the receiving, storage, and distribution of goods promptly and accurately.
• Track and monitor shipments, resolving any issues that may arise during transit.
Process Optimization:
• Utilize inventory management software and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Prepare and present reports to senior management as needed.
• Coordinate with sales teams to ensure timely stock replenishment and maintain optimal inventory levels.
Collaboration & Leadership:
• Communicate effectively with headquarters to ensure data integrity in the system.
• Assist management with operational needs and decision-making processes.
• Lead and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
Experience, Skills, and Abilities:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing warehouse operations, with a proven track record of successful hiring and staff retention.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Familiarity with safety and compliance standards in warehouse operations.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or on-call as operationally required.
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred
Technical Proficiency:
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
• ERP experience is preferred
Additional Requirements:
• Mandarin proficiency is preferred
• Forklift certification is a plus
Compensation Package:
• Competitive base salary: $45,000–$60,000 annually
