Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate Director of Pipeline Optimization to join our team at Emory University. This role will play a critical part in driving our pipeline optimization efforts, ensuring we are maximizing our potential for growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and implement strategic pipeline optimization initiatives to support institutional priorities.
  • Collaborate on the design and implementation of prospect identification projects and processes, utilizing various databases and industry best practices.
  • Interpret biographical and complex health and financial information on individuals to inform fundraising strategies and objectives.
  • Analyze complex financial disclosure documents, real estate, and other wealth indicators to determine accurate wealth capacity ratings.
  • Serve as a team liaison for a defined group of development officers, ensuring portfolios are filled according to portfolio management guidelines with the most promising prospects.
  • Collaborate with development officers, fundraising leadership, and other internal clients to understand portfolio needs and implement innovative solutions to address moves management and fundraising strategies.
  • Synthesize and analyze prospect data, conduct audits, and monitor data integrity to improve the quality of prospect-specific data.
  • Foster partnerships with major gifts teams and central services teams.
  • May lead or manage special projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and four years of experience in non-profit, advancement, or alumni engagement, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training.
  • Experience conducting prospect research, coordinating a prospect management system, directing activities toward prospect identification, database coordination, system design, and/or report design and production, particularly for a patient constituency and academic medical center.
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working with various technologies, including knowledge and experience with project management software, data analysis tools, and CRM systems.
