We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Ohana Pacific Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide professional nursing care to residents, adhering to established policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, following facility policies and procedures.
- Take telephone orders from physicians and transcribe orders to new medication administration records, pre-printed physician order sheets, and resident charts.
- Maintain and order appropriate inventory of resident medications and medical stock supplies.
- Conduct accurate physical assessments of residents, determine their needs, and implement appropriate interventions.
- Perform assessments on admission, transfer, and/or discharge.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Hawaii required.
- Experience in geriatrics and current nursing standards of practice preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviation required.
- First Aid and CPR preferred (can be done in-house).
