Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Installation Specialist to join our team at M.C. Dean, Inc. This role involves installing and maintaining electronic security systems, performing preventive maintenance requirements, and conducting inspections and evaluations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead teams on small to moderately complex installation projects
  • Conduct and document daily tool box talks
  • Install head end equipment at local and global levels per design packages
  • Program head end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and CCTV systems
  • Troubleshoot and isolate systems and hardware at local and global levels
  • Provide on-site software commissioning and testing
  • Perform inspections, evaluations, and inventory
Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship status required
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Education: High School diploma or GED, Military Electronics Training, or graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program
  • 8+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs
  • 3+ years of experience focused in electronic security systems
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams
  • Demonstrated time management and organization skills
Desirable Qualifications
  • Vendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems
  • Experience with Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch Radionics, Bosch CCTV, Bosch BVMS, AIphone Intercom Systems, and Windows operating systems
Physical Abilities/Requirements
  • Lifts at least 100 pounds at one time and 60 pounds for an extended period
  • Relocates a 12-foot stepladder without assistance
  • Works at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, and ladders
  • Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls, and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis
  • Possesses good vision, the ability to see in color, and the ability to hear and communicate in English
