Job Summary:

NurseCore is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in infusion nursing to join our Specialty Staffing division. As a Nurse Specialist, you will provide high-quality in-home care and infusions to patients with rare, chronic, and acute diseases.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and teach patients about specialty pharmacy infusion therapies and injectables in the home setting, infusion suites, or physician office.
  • Access and maintain SPC/PIV/Midlines, CVAD (PICC/Implanted Ports), SCIG, phlebotomy, and lab processing.
  • Coordinate patient care planning with the Director of Nursing and make clinical decisions in the delivery of patient care.
  • Update client/patient records, health changes, and other related incidents.
  • Ensure safe care to patients and adhere to all policies, procedures, and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse through the State Board of Nursing required.
  • Home health experience preferred.
  • Minimum of two years medical surgical or critical care/ER experience preferred.
  • Minimum of one-year recent infusion experience preferred.
  • Proof of current PPD and current CPR– hands-on class required.
