Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Radiology Practice Manager to join our team in Brooklyn, NY. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical, organizational, and scheduling support to our fast-paced radiology practice.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively with staff and physicians. A background in radiology or healthcare administration is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly technologist schedules to maximize workflow and coordinate with current radiologist staffing.
- Communicate daily department staffing challenges to all departmental directors, managers, and supervisors.
- Perform clinical exams as needed in any location.
- Organize and approve add-on "stat" exams to maximize workflow within the department.
- Lead contact in the preparation and oversight of all DOH inspections, as well as Practice Health and Safety inspections.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- ARRT certification/licensure.
- NYS Radiology License.
- Knowledge of standard policies, procedures, and protocols to supervise the department directly.
- Knowledge of radiology standards to evaluate work of technologists.
- Ability to develop and maintain department quality assurance.
