We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Patient Care Technician Specialist to join our team at DaVita Inc. in Middletown, New York.

As a Patient Care Technician Specialist, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care and working closely with a cross-functional team of clinicians, including nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other experienced PCTs.

Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional care to patients suffering from end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney disease. You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) and have exposure to blood and needles as part of your duties.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
  • Measuring and recording vital signs, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup
  • Educating patients on kidney dialysis-related topics and building long-term relationships with them
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care
