About the Role

Brown Brothers Harriman is seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Manager, Early Career to join our Talent and Development team. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing a portfolio of high-impact early career development programming that elevates the capabilities and understanding of our top talent early in their career.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of executive development, executive coaching certification, and assessment experience. They will be able to draw upon a wide variety of techniques to ensure engagement, knowledge transfer, and skill development take place in a measurable way.

This role requires a passion for live, in-person facilitation, and the ability to build trusting and effective relationships with leaders across the enterprise. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successfully working as a business partner with a senior management team and managing change and developing leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage a portfolio of high-impact early career development programming
  • Identify clear learning objectives aligned with current and future developmental needs of the learner population
  • Facilitate engaging and impactful learning experiences, incorporating diverse instructional methods
  • Provide one-on-one coaching to leaders and their talent, enabling professional growth and addressing specific development needs
  • Oversee program management, including working with Program Managers and a Coordinator to ensure on-time execution that is high impact and within budget

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required, graduate/Master's degree desirable
  • 15+ years of experience in HR or Leadership roles required, with proven experience in program management, design, and delivery of development programs preferred
  • Strong understanding of executive development, executive coaching certification, and assessment experience required
  • Experience managing and/or facilitating flagship programming preferred
  • Ability to draw upon a wide variety of techniques to ensure engagement, knowledge transfer, and skill development take place in a measurable way
  • Proven track record of successfully working as a business partner with a senior management team, building trusting and effective relationships with leaders across the enterprise
