We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our team in CT Surgery at Intermountain Health. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with a talented team of healthcare professionals.

About the Role:

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider to provide top-notch care and patient experience in our CT Surgery clinic and Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, CO. As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will work closely with 4 CT Surgeons and 3 other Advanced Practitioners to deliver high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include assisting surgeons during procedures, performing radial artery and saphenous vein harvesting, placing Foley catheters and invasive lines, and discharging patients from the hospital or PACU.

You will also be responsible for daily team rounding and attending daily meetings at 7:45am. In addition, you will have the opportunity to participate in new patient consultations, surgical follow-ups, and other clinical activities.

Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons during procedures
  • Perform radial artery and saphenous vein harvesting
  • Place Foley catheters and invasive lines
  • Discharge patients from the hospital or PACU
  • Participate in daily team rounding and meetings

Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
  • Licensed as PA or NP in the state of CO or able to obtain
  • DEA and full prescriptive authority in CO
  • Minimum of 2 years as a First Assist PA or NP in a CT Surgery setting
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in endoscopic vein harvesting for bypass procedures

About the Salary:

The estimated salary range for this position is $49.86-$76.93 per hour, depending on experience. Benefits include a generous benefits package, paid time off, license reimbursement, malpractice insurance coverage, and an annual CME allowance to support your continuous growth and development.
