We are seeking an experienced Survey CAD Technician to join our North Dakota team in Williston or Dickinson. This role offers exciting opportunities for career growth and development, working closely with project managers, professional land surveyors, engineers, and other team members.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D, including experience in reducing survey data, creating topographic maps, and preparing construction staking calculations. Additionally, they will have knowledge of survey data field collection methods and procedures, as well as exposure to LiDAR data post-processing.

About the Role:
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Reduce survey data and create topographic maps using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Prepare legal descriptions and create legal boundaries for plat maps, ALTA's, and other legal instruments.
  • Create alignments, corridors, pipe networks, and 3D terrain models to support data extraction or development for survey and construction staking tasks.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Technical Requirements:
  • 2+ years of CADD experience with survey and/or civil engineering projects related to land development, municipal infrastructure/utilities, or transportation.
  • Strong understanding of AutoCAD Civil 3D and its applications in survey and construction staking.
  • Familiarity with LiDAR data post-processing and its uses in survey and mapping.
