About the Position
">- PsychoGeriatric Services, a leading provider of mental health services in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Washington DC, is seeking a highly qualified Nurse Practitioner to join our team.

Job Summary:
">- This role involves providing psychiatric care services at partner facilities, including on-site assessments, medication management, and education and coordination of care with facility staff.
The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for working with seniors and providing exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities:
">- Provide on-site psychiatric assessments and medication management to patients in skilled nursing, assisted living, and other long-term care facilities.
- Consult, educate, and coordinate care with facility staff, including nursing home administrators, directors of nursing, and directors of social services.
- Adhere to established regulations, policies, and procedures while exercising initiative and independent judgment.
Requirements:
">- Possession of a state license as a nurse practitioner (required).
- DEA license (required).
- Availability to work during normal, weekday business hours (no night or weekend on-call).
- Ability to stand for 20 minutes.
- Ability to lift 15 pounds.
