Sleep Technologist

MedBridge Healthcare is seeking experienced professionals to provide clinical sleep services on an as-needed basis at Southeastern Sleep Lab in Ohio.

This position offers a competitive hourly rate, with rates varying based on experience and patient ratio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in polysomnography, with certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist.

The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating tests, collecting data, preparing equipment, and analyzing results. They will also ensure compliance with regulations and laws concerning safety control.

• Facilitate sleep studies and collect relevant data
• Prepare equipment, record activities, and analyze results
• Fulfill responsibilities regarding proper polysomnographic procedures, including electrode use, sensor calibration, and airway pressure mask fitting
• Analyze clinical events, such as respiratory and cardiac episodes, and prepare final data for review

• High school diploma or higher education level
• Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program
• Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or certified as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
• Current BCLS certification

The employee must be able to stand, walk, and sit regularly, with specific vision abilities required for close, distance, peripheral, and focus adjustments. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
