Manufacturing Operations Manager

DANIEL DEFENSE LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our manufacturing facility, ensuring that all production goals and objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Lead and manage a team of production staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that all team members are working efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and productivity.
- Production Planning and Control
- Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet business objectives.
- Monitor and control production processes to ensure that all products meet quality and safety standards.
- Quality Assurance
- Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure that all products meet quality and safety standards.
- Conduct regular quality audits to identify areas for improvement.
- Inventory Management
- Manage inventory levels to ensure that all materials and supplies are available when needed.
- Develop and implement inventory control processes to minimize waste and excess inventory.
- Safety and Compliance
- Ensure that all production staff are trained on safety procedures and protocols.
- Conduct regular safety audits to identify areas for improvement.
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. manufacturing, engineering, business).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production management role.
- Skills and Abilities
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
The Manufacturing Operations Manager will work in a manufacturing environment, with regular exposure to machinery, chemicals, and other production-related hazards. The successful candidate must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds and work in a variety of physical environments.
