Crop Underwriting Internship

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Crop Underwriting Intern to join our team at QBE Insurance Group Limited. As a Crop Underwriting Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in crop insurance underwriting, including developing and implementing performance and developmental coaching plans, learning the crop insurance life cycle, and assisting underwriters with daily processes.

This internship will provide you with the opportunity to work in one of our underwriting crop insurance teams, including MPCI - Multiple Peril Crop Insurance and Crop Hail. You will be responsible for processing production reports, acreage reports, hail and MPCI applications, and supporting documentation, as well as monitoring and running reports.

• Develop and implement performance and developmental coaching plans
• Learn the crop insurance life cycle
• Process production reports, acreage reports, hail and MPCI applications, and supporting documentation
• Assist underwriters with daily processes
• Process in the EASYwriter Pro Systems
• Audit insured and agent-submitted paperwork for accuracy and completeness and gather any missing information
• Work with the UW team on various projects or other duties
• Network with other crop insurance departments
• Provide excellent customer service

• Completion of a High School Diploma/GED
• Full-time current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Insurance, Risk Management, or Agriculture
• Must be returning to college/university upon completion of internship
• Course work or relevant experience with demonstrated achievements
• Ability to work from June 2nd, 2025, to August 8th, 2025
