We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Seaboard Foods. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing physical structures of our buildings, ensuring efficient and effective operations.

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and installations of equipment and systems, including automated feed systems, water systems, and ventilation systems.
• Use a variety of tools and equipment, including hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Follow work orders and specifications to determine the need for equipment replacement, repair, or maintenance.
• Weld and fabricate equipment and structures as needed.
• Be available for on-call emergency situations.

• Two-year technical degree or greater, or one to three months of experience or training, or a combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and work orders, and to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Must possess a current valid driver's license, acceptable MVR, and ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical card.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift up to 100 pounds, and sometimes push or move up to 300 pounds.

The employee will occasionally work near moving mechanical parts and will be commonly exposed to airborne particles and gases at low concentrations.
