About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with expertise in Python and cloud technologies to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automating ETL processes and building scalable data infrastructure on AWS.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data applications and solutions.
  • Automate and optimize ETL pipelines using Python and AWS services.
  • Design, develop, and manage data workflows for deployment of data products.
  • Build automation frameworks and dashboards to enhance data quality and reporting.
  • Analyze and interpret data from multiple sources to support integration and reporting needs.
  • Validate data movement and transformation in both Cloud and On-Prem ETL environments.
  • Troubleshoot data issues, ensuring effective and timely resolutions.
  • Execute data analytics and integration testing within project timelines and budget.
Must-Have Skills:
  • Strong experience with Python and Cloud Technologies (preferably AWS).
  • Proven ability in automating ETL processes and managing AWS infrastructure using Python.
  • Deep knowledge of AWS services such as S3, Athena, EMR, Glue, Redshift, Kinesis, and SageMaker.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Unix/Linux scripting, and Cloud/On-Prem ETL technologies (Ab Initio, AWS Glue, Informatica, Alteryx).
  • Hands-on experience with large-scale data migration from On-Premise to Cloud environments.
  • Extensive experience in DevOps/DataOps practices.
  • Familiarity with Data Science platforms like SageMaker, H2O, or Machine Learning Studio is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Data Modeling and Data Warehousing concepts, with a focus on Cloud/On-Prem ETL.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture and best practices in analytics platforms.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Experience with tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.
  • Working knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with storage tools like S3 and HDFS.
  • Experience using industry-standard defect or test case management tools.
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with expertise in troubleshooting and debugging code.
