About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Harnett County Jail. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling, offering a healthy work-life balance.

Job Summary

This role will involve delivering patient care, evaluating symptoms and progress, and administering prescribed medications in accordance with nursing standards and correctional regulations. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, including assessing symptoms, developing treatment plans, and evaluating patient progress
  • Administer prescribed medications in accordance with nursing standards and correctional regulations
  • Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Perform emergency interventions, physical assessments, and critical thinking as needed
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current LPN license in the state of North Carolina
  • Experience working in a correctional facility or similar environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary Range

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
