Job Summary:

Tryon Medical Partners is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Endocrinology team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working closely with physicians and staff to coordinate care and ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Obtain patient consent for care and maintain confidentiality
  • Assess patient condition, develop care plans, and implement treatments as prescribed
  • Administer medications, monitor patient response, and document treatment progress
  • Delegate tasks as allowed under the Nurse Practice Act, referring to physicians and other healthcare providers as needed
  • Educate patients and families about health status, health maintenance, and disease management
  • Document patient assessment and intervention data using established medical record forms and automated systems
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives and maintain accurate patient records

Requirements:

  • RN degree from an accredited school of nursing
  • Current state registered nurse license
  • Current CPR certification and ACLS certification (if required)
  • Minimum one year of professional nursing experience, with clinic experience preferred

Work Environment:

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment, with frequent walking, standing, sitting, lifting, and pushing. The ideal candidate will be able to lift and support weights of up to 35 pounds and use a computer for extended periods.
