Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Director to join our team at Crane Worldwide Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for directing site operations to ensure that our operations staff executes service agreements at, or above, our clients' standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct Site Operations: Direct site operations to ensure that our operations staff executes service agreements at, or above, our clients' standards.
  • Maximize Profitability: Maximize profitability through superior client service, effective and prompt communications, and follow-up on all pending matters with the client.
  • Staffing and Scheduling: Plan and monitor daily staffing schedules, and adjust accordingly to ensure adequate staffing levels that support operational demands and business objectives.
  • Financial Management: Manage revenue and expenses to budget constraints.
  • Employee Development: Responsible for training, developing, and motivating employees to peak performance and growth in their knowledge and responsibilities.
  • Financial Reporting: Ability to manage the financial aspects of the department, including purchasing, budget preparation and review, financial reporting, and monitoring expenses.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum ten years industry-related experience required, minimum five years supervisory experience required.
  • Certifications: Professional certification may be required in some areas.
