Job Title: Registered Nurse Manager

VNS Health is seeking a Registered Nurse Manager to lead our nursing team in Union City, New Jersey.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Manager to oversee the day-to-day activities of our nursing team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the nursing team, including supervising staff, coordinating patient care, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and enhance the overall quality of care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Conduct regular audits and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide education and training to staff on new policies, procedures, and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in New York State.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in nursing management, with a strong background in case management, administration, or discharge planning.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of value-based care models and managed care, with experience in population care coordination preferred.
