Part-time plastic surgeon position available with Vohra Wound Physicians in Waco, TX.

About the Role

This opportunity offers a unique blend of clinical satisfaction, autonomy, and flexibility, allowing for a better work-life balance. As a part-time plastic surgeon, you will provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings, including skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals.

The role is designed to accommodate a 45-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, with no call or weekend clinical responsibilities. You will have the opportunity to work closely with highly qualified wound certified physician trainers and fellowship directors, utilizing cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide bedside wound care to patients in post-acute care settings
  • Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility
  • Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver modern wound management
About Vohra Wound Physicians

Vohra Wound Physicians is a leading provider of wound care services, with a mobile practice that visits facilities in a mile radius of our practice location. Our physicians visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including full health and retirement benefits, medical malpractice insurance with tail coverage, and mileage reimbursement. With a W2 employment contract, you can expect a stable and secure work environment.

Requirements
  • Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state of Texas
  • Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week
Compensation and Benefits

As a part-time plastic surgeon, you can expect an estimated annual salary of $300,000, plus benefits. We offer a competitive compensation package, including full health and retirement benefits, medical malpractice insurance with tail coverage, and mileage reimbursement.
