Job Description

The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in clinics, homes, schools, and other community settings. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing preventive and direct service delivery, education, and counseling services
  • Initiating medical records and obtaining health information, including specimen and sample collection
  • Identifying and treating communicable diseases, conducting health screenings, analyzing test results, and participating in public health initiatives, such as vaccine administration and response to disease outbreaks
  • Conducting infant and child health assessments, counseling, and administering immunizations
  • Collaborating with organizations and agencies to promote health, wellness, and disease prevention

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A valid APRN license
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience working in community/public health settings
