Job Description

Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is seeking a skilled Receptionist to provide exceptional guest service and support to our team.

An Andretti Receptionist is the critical first point of contact for guests and event clients. They are responsible for anticipating guest needs, exceeding guest service expectations, and providing a fun and exciting atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests by greeting them in person, via email, or over the phone.
  • Answer the phone within the 2-ring guideline and follow up on any missed calls.
  • Check, respond, and disperse voicemails or messages to the appropriate personnel.
  • Communicate and screen calls for department managers and other Andretti management personnel.
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access to the reception desk.
  • Perform clerical receptionist duties such as filing, faxing, photocopying, and transcribing.
  • Receive and sort daily mail and deliveries.
  • Create and run documents using Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Anticipate and respond to guests in a friendly and positive manner with a sense of urgency.
  • Assist with guest recovery and notify managers to ensure positive guest experiences.
  • Stay up-to-date on Andretti brand, product, and policies and procedures.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with guests and colleagues.
  • Work as a team player to meet guest needs and contribute to the efforts of other departments.
  • Observe, instruct, and monitor guests for safety and guideline adherence.
  • Attend required department and company meetings and training sessions.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with Andretti Indoor Karting & Games policies and procedures.
  • Be knowledgeable of facility emergency procedures.
  • Perform opening, running, and closing department duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • The ability to be pleasant, upbeat, and sociable throughout the workday.
  • Availability to work varying days, nights, holidays, and weekends.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an Andretti Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of their job. Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Ability to walk or stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds on a regular and continuing basis.
  • Perform functions that require organization, bending, reaching, turning, lifting, climbing, and stocking up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to communicate quickly and accurately.
  • Work environment may include bright, dim, or flashing lights and loud sounds.
  • Requires manual dexterity to use and operate necessary equipment.
  • Ability to understand, follow, and maintain safety standards at all times.
