Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team at Advocates. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric services to children and adolescents, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct clinical services to children and adolescents, including individual and group therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Prescribe and manage medications as needed
  • Monitor and evaluate treatment progress, making adjustments as necessary
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community agencies and organizations to ensure seamless care coordination
Requirements
  • Doctorate degree in Psychiatry or related field
  • Board certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or related field
  • Current, valid license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Current, valid DEA and MA Controlled Substance Registrations
  • Ability to maintain professional liability insurance coverage of a minimum of $1,000,000/$3,000,000
  • Satisfactory report from the National Practitioner Data Bank and absence of Medicare/Medicaid sanctions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with culturally diverse populations
  • Ability to speak multiple languages, including English, Spanish, and Portuguese
  • Valid driver's license and access to an operational and insured automobile
