About the Role

This 14-week position requires a skilled and compassionate RN to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic oncology environment.

The successful candidate will work 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, ensuring seamless coverage during this critical period.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical histories, develop personalized care plans, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Medication Management: Administer medications as prescribed, monitor patients for potential side effects, and collaborate with physicians to adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Documentation and Communication: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, communicate effectively with colleagues, and provide timely updates to families and caregivers.
Requirements
  • Certified Oncology RN with experience in chemotherapy administration, symptom management, and palliative care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHRs) and other relevant software applications.
