Salary Information

We offer a competitive salary of $95,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience. This includes additional compensation for evening, night, and weekend shifts.

Job Summary

The Surgical Care Specialist provides direct patient care to pediatric through geriatric populations in the Operating Room setting. Key responsibilities include monitoring and assisting patients during procedures, communicating with the surgical team, and acting as a patient advocate to ensure safe, reliable, high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and position patients during surgical procedures
  • Communicate effectively with the surgical team regarding patient condition
  • Act as a patient advocate to ensure safe, reliable care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Maine
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification
  • Minimum one (1) year work experience in the operating room preferred
