About the Job

As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for assisting customers in finding the right parts for their vehicles, providing expert knowledge and advice, and ensuring that every interaction with our customers is nothing short of exceptional.

Job Responsibilities

As a Retail Sales Associate, your primary responsibilities will include:


  • Delivering Exceptional Customer Service: Provide personalized assistance to customers, answer their questions, and help them find the right auto parts for their vehicles.
  • Processing Transactions: Process cash and credit card transactions, manage inventory, and maintain accurate records.
  • Maintaining a Clean and Organized Store: Ensure that the store is clean, organized, and well-stocked, and that all equipment and tools are in good working order.
  • Staying Up-to-Date on Product Knowledge: Continuously learn about new products, technologies, and innovations in the auto parts industry, and stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments.
  • Collaborating with Colleagues: Work closely with colleagues to achieve sales targets, share knowledge, and provide support when needed.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:


  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management, and build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in retail or sales.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Ability to navigate computer systems, process transactions, and manage inventory.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accurate records, manage inventory, and ensure that all equipment and tools are in good working order.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment.
