About the Role:

As a Behavioral Health Technician at Clarvida - Pennsylvania, you will play a vital role in providing one-to-one services to children and adolescents between the ages of 2-24 who are facing emotional and behavioral challenges. Working closely with a Behavioral Consultant, you will help improve the independent functioning of these individuals, enabling them to reach levels that require minimal or no service intervention. Your daily visits to clients' homes, schools, or service locations will involve following a prescribed treatment plan, providing behavioral and treatment interventions, and setting boundaries to prevent dependency on your services. You will also educate and train parents and adult professionals to utilize these skills, providing positive reinforcement and culturally aware and competent service provision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing one-to-one services to children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral challenges
  • Working with a Behavioral Consultant to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Visiting clients' homes, schools, or service locations to provide interventions and support
  • Setting boundaries and providing education and training to parents and adult professionals

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid PA Driver's License and car insurance
  • Ability to obtain Act 33, Act 34, and FBI Clearances
  • CPR/First Aid training (must include infant/child) or ability to obtain

Working Hours:
