Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Manager to join our team at AMA Group. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of multiple projects across New York City, Brooklyn, and Northern New Jersey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate all trade and field personnel to ensure smooth project execution
  • Implement and improve company-wide project management processes, focusing on safety and efficiency
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including labor hours, material usage, and progress tracking
  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and issue resolution
  • Analyze and resolve site-specific safety issues, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs, enhance productivity, and improve quality control
  • Prepare and submit regular project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management, preferably with knowledge of MEP systems and interiors
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
