We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Radiology Specialist to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. As a vital member of our cardiovascular department, you will play a crucial role in preparing equipment and providing patient care during procedures.

Norman Regional Health System is a community hospital system nestled at the Southern border of the Oklahoma City metro area. We have an innovative cardiovascular program and are committed to delivering exceptional patient care. Our state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower features three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. We work with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists.

Responsibilities

As a Cardiovascular Radiology Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing equipment before and during procedures
  • Identifying and assessing patient conditions
  • Preparing, positioning, and providing patient care
  • Maintaining a sterile environment
  • Serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students
  • Participating in the orientation of new staff
  • Using downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks
  • Maintaining strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months
  • Complete all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months
  • Educational background in a formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification
  • Previous Procedural Area experience preferred
  • Registration from the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care; Current BLS required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment
  • Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience.
